JF Machine Inc was established in 1978 by Frank A. Schiavone, a NY born native with exceptional mechanical skills. He decided at an early age to go to a trade high school in Brooklyn to learn to become a machinist. After finishing school, he went on to work at Mergenthaler Linotype Corporation. The company was a union shop which proved to be too confining for a young, ambitious person like Frank, so he quickly moved on to work for Exello Tool and Die to further hone his skills. After many years of working for others in the industry, he decided it was time to venture off on his own; this is when Frank founded JF Machine. His son Anthony joined him in 1981 after finishing high school. Anthony began transitioning the facility to the next generation of technology with the introduction of Computer Numerical Controlled machines.
